Starting in 2022, Loving Beyond Understanding was established to develop social support for the local LGBTQ+ community. Since this date, we've grown, and have developed an accredited Gender Diverse Compassion training series, created and supported a broad range of LGBTQ+ centered groups and programming, and in December of 2023, we've opened The Center, an LGBTQ+ community center oriented to hosting a variety of queer centered groups and programming in an environment engineered to create a sense of belonging.
